She only 6months old, and I was shocked to find my waters breaking all by themselves, yet with my other 4, they had to be broken!!! All I can say is, you definately know when your waters have broken, as you feel so much pressure above your pubic bone, and you hear a very very slight 'pop' , then there is water everywhere.
