What do you tell a 5 year old about lossing his brother or sister?

In some ways, our 6 miscarriages were harder on our children than on us (not that it was easy for me and my husband by any means!).

Will my nightmare end???

I have had 7 miscarriages, but only needed D&C twice. I hate going to the hospital, so I sympathize with you greatly! . It is very unusual for bleeding to be bad after a d&c.

Most Americans are actually quite bad at mourning, which is a long process. Thinking about your little ones is a sweet, if sad thing, and it sounds like you are handling it in a good way.

Any more chances...

I had 6 miscarriages in a row before carrying Margary Rose to term. There was no pattern, and the OB/GYN never could figure out what was wrong.

Getting the most out of learning & travel

Our family travels more than most, though not as much as yours! I do try to do a learning blitz focused on things about our destination beforehand.

Age gaps

There some age gaps in my family! I have a sister 2 years older than me, one 12 years younger, and one 17 years younger. I am very close with my older and next younger sister (she is 21 now, I am 33).

Reusing yarn?

I have been wanting to do this, and have been tempted to pick up wool sweaters a couple of times when I saw one at the thrift store that would be just perfect.

What's your favorite AIO?

I don't use AIO either- too expensive. They sure do sound convenient, though! I use mostly flats. I actually find folding diapers calming.:) I just found this part of the forum.
