Yes! I am actually turned off when candidates give lip service to homeschooling without being truly educated about it. I thought Edwards approach was completely ignorant, and don't trust that Romney or Huckabee are serious about doing anything for homeschoolers.

Hey there, I did mention Accidental Homeschoolers in the homeshooling glossary I did last year... just a line or two. I also mentioned and used Time for learning until my kids pretty much aged out of it. It's kind of no muss, no fuss.

hmmm.. the comments that mention the sites seems more like a plug than a legit questions. We have used all of the sites that you Valorie have mentioned... I wish there were some similar sites for older kids, as my kids have outgrown most of them...Funbrain still gets some use though.

My kids used to tell people that we didn't do science as there was not "this is science time". They thought all the museum trips and workshops, and observing nature was fun!
