What I have decided is that the prices of food is forcing me on a diet. I purchased 1 dozen of eggs and one loaf of bread when I used to buy two. Purchased a smaller amount of meat and it was frozen instead of fresh. My other purchases consisted of what was on sale for buy one get one free. This included apple juice, Doritos, and toaster pastries, and hot dogs. I guess that covers breakfast and lunch. I did get fruit though. The strawberries and grapes and bananas were priced well. Don't be afraid to call the school and ask more questions! When your homeschooled child does not want to learn - Blog Entry12 Mar 2008 08:52 PM This is a very good question... I will think on it and address it in tomorrow's blogs One Point for the Other Team - Blog Entry12 Mar 2008 12:09 PM Don't know why I thought the questions were rhetorical:-) Anyway, I don't believe these judgments will have a ripple effect because of the way homeschoolers are not taking this laying down. This is a very visible case and it is clear that this judgment will not stand. You should always be worried about your rights... but no more in this case than usual. Anytime the nation as a whole looks away from an injustice just because it does not directly affect them, we are allowing more injustices to take place. As homeschoolers it would not hurt to teach our children to be politically active. Another Homeschool Tragedy in the News - Blog Entry10 Mar 2008 04:09 PM You know what... you guys are right...
