Looking for My Waist... Seriously - Blog Entry

Those are actually good ideas Clarissa... I do try to eat at Subway... but my favorite Chinese restaurant is my downfall. I am learning to cook Chinese at home though.

My favorite idea of yours is moving meats to the refrigerator on Sunday. That could make a huge difference in my week.

Clarrissa, I am afraid I am going to have to fork over some money to get myself to exercise regularly. I could walk my dogs every day, but I don't. I could use the exercise equipment in my basement, but I don't. I could practice my dance steps daily, but just days after deciding to do that, I have not. When I do exercise, I do it well. I walk far. I move briskly. I work up a sweat. But I only do it once or twice a week.

When I paid a gym membership and took TaeKwondo, I went almost everyday. That's because I am cheap and like to get value for my money.

Food around the house.... The freezer is stocked with healthy meats, that I am too lazy to thaw. The pantry has brown rice and whole wheat pasta. Cookies for the kids usually have to be baked before eating. There is a shelf full of different types of breakfast cereals like raisin bran and special K. There are cans of soup. And there is fruit and salad. My problem is I eat out too often and most of the fresh food in my house goes in the garbage can from spoilage

I was tormented in school in the fourth grade until my Mom came with us on a field trip. She did the opposite of what you describe. Even though everyone had lunch, she brought the most delicious sandwiches... enough for everyone in our group. She also brought enough cake for the entire class and treated all the children at royalty. The bullies were so impressed that no one attacked me after school anymore. So parents should be aware that the way they act on field trips really does affect their children's relationships with other kids.
