When I came home for Thanksgiving from college my mother told me an elaborate tale of the missing dog. During my next visit, I saw the dog in the car of my Dad's best friend. I gave her a piece of my mind about that.

I thought this article was going to be about Santa and the Eater bunny though. I am one of those parents who couldn't keep up the facade and told the truth.

All the cousins in our family (my husband's siblings kids) except for the last one who is a Jr. has a first name that ends in N.

I think Linens and things and Walmart can sell them to students who really want them and they can grab their own trays from the dorms before heading to the cafeteria. That will work from the freshmen anywhere.

Heck.. they can sell the trays in the school bookstore.

The show has had numerous boo-boos such as a family who took in orphaned teens, got the house as a reward and then ousted the kids and kept cars meant for the teens.

The show needs to set legal parameters that have to be met in order to keep the house. The house should not be able to be mortgaged for 5-10 years, and if the house is built because 10 people are living together in a sacrificial manner, they should have to continue living together or the house should be sold and proceeds split.

Hey, I just thought of a way to persuade kids to put on clothes outside without making them ashamed of their bodies. Just tell them they can get sunburn on their tushies! Have some simple panties or underwear available to prevent tushie sunburn!

Born and raised in the north... My parents weren't above spanking, but only for a good reason like danger to yourself or another or lying. (My mom was a southerner though)

Raising kids in the south. Probably spanked each child 4 times in their lives, but not above it. Have also swatted on but or hand to stop misbehavior mid act... still rare.

But... my kids have always responded well to verbal cues and reason.

Both my kids experienced alot of pain during the tween years... leg and even back aches for my daughter who had a brush with scoliosis were constant.

Funny, I thought Samual was more free-spirited!

Anyway, we had no problem with nudity of toddlers. Modesty lessons were slow and subtle so as to not cause body image problems.

Funny story. We were at a company picnic when my summer was five. My husband said to our son, "Time to put on your swimsuit" and he stripped on the spot in front of all his co-workers and boss. Through my husbands laughing, he could barely say, Jack, pull up your pants!.

He got lots of high-fives from his male co-workers!.

In other words... no one minded, not even corporate executives.
