Los Angeles can be a dangerous place for a Pedestrian. Last summer I was almost struck while getting out of a car...in the next 10 minutes I saw two actual car accidents on the same street.

Excellent examples... actually my brother is planning to move into what used to be our exercise room. A gym membership is far cheaper than what he will be paying us, and it will also cover the electric bill and cost of extra food. The rest of our basement is only used for parties, so I need to figure out how to cut off the heat to those areas.

I would gladly downsize if I could sell my house... I did manage to get rid of my rental properties just in time though... I'd hate to have to deal with those money pits in a bad economy. So in a way, I did downsize. Still, my family of four could easily live in a house half the size of our current home. I know I grew up in a much smaller house and at one time there were 11 people in our home.

Hindsight is 20-20.

My daughter is 12. She find it insulting that anyone should think she has sexual thoughts at this age. I think for her maybe 13 or 14 is a more appropriate age for a purity ring... but I am not as strict to say that she would go to a purity ball in opposed to a prom. I think she should do both.

If my daughter wore a purity ring and if she went to school, which she does not, I would have a problem with her being asked to remove it.
