My husband works out of town on Monday through Thursday, arriving back at home late Thursday. On Friday he work remotely, so I use that day to do as much as I can on things due over the weekend. This is so we can play all day Saturday and go to church together on Sunday. If he leaves on Sunday, I get back to work. If he leaves Monday morning, I try to squeeze in a few more hours of together time.

In short, I know what you mean.
