Most people (here) younger than me call me Ma'am or Miss or Mrs. I, in turn have always given young people the courtesy of a title. I was raised that way, and it generally makes them feel good about themselves to be given the respect from the jump. But these are interesting and modern times. One of the points I was trying to make in the blog is that by freeing up my time and sanity and hiring a housekeeper, I was able to cover the expense by picking up a couple of writing jobs. This is about how much I can get done in one day as well... and write, of course. Meanwhile, someone has to clean the bathrooms, mop floors, vacuum carpets, polish hardwood, disinfect surfaces, and remove fingerprints, dust, and organize closets even after the kids tidy up behind themselves! When I realized the kids were playing in them, I removed the lids and put them in the attic. They are perfectly safe without lids. I attended Fordham University after College, and they were accepted, and the State College I tranferred to afterwards, had no problems with them... so it is a school by school basis for accepting AP courses.
