I am of the opinion of "why not"? Let them have their "cake" they will see it's not always a day at the park. 10 Things He Needs From His Wife11 Nov 2006 11:35 AM Great Article! I'm glad you posted this as sometimes men get "left behind" when it comes to their needs from their partners. 10 Things She Needs From Her Husband11 Nov 2006 11:17 AM Although I feel this is spot on when it comes to women's needs, what about the men? I personaly think "do unto others". If you are not doing the things that you want your husband to do for you, and showing equal care and respect for him how can you demand the same from him? Marriage Means No More Dating Others (or Does it?)11 Nov 2006 11:09 AM Some people unfortunately think that getting married is just another piece of paper that just entiles then to added bonus'. I personally don't understand why you would get married to someone and then still want a relationship else where. Although some couple's "swing" I find this wrong on so many levels. Esp when children are involved. What are they teaching these kids? This would make a very interesting disscusion/debate. Thank you for posting this. Mom's Beware: The Little Things28 Sep 2006 08:18 AM OH! I remmeber the " I want to get out of my carseat" stage! Not fun...there was a point that I had to sit in the backseat with Alejandro so he wouldn't undo the seat belt. But once we started the "we will not go anywhere if you dont have it on" rule, he started to listen. Esp when he wanted to go to grandma's ;) Stepparents As 'De Facto' Parents: The US Supreme Court Weighs In26 Sep 2006 04:07 PM I wish that this applied here in Canada. My DH is my sons father in every way but blood. My DS calls him daddy and has known him since he was 1yr though according to the courts he has no legal say at all! I hope this can come here to as it is true, that with so many blended families..,just because you have a 'blood link" does not mean you dont act in every other way as a parent to that child. Freezer Cooking Breakfast Recipes26 Sep 2006 12:50 PM Ooooooooo! Thanks Nicole! This should help me out a lot. :) Co-sleeping Makes Me Happy26 Sep 2006 12:24 PM Thanks for sharing "co-sleeping makes me happy". I belive that without co-sleeping I would be a wreck right now. I am a SAHM and my husband currently is away from 6am to 7pm. It makes life a little hard as I have both boys with me all day and by the end all I want to do is sleep. It's nice to know that others do the same thing to make their lives easier too. Me,Me,Me-Stop Pouting and Start Giving19 Sep 2006 12:52 PM I agree completly! In todays society many women complain that their husbands are so uninvolved, dont help them and that the dont feel loved by them. I agree that people (not just women) need to first step back and take a look at what they are doing. Then change the way they talk and communicate with their partners, only then will they receive the same in return. Why You Won't Catch Me at a Nurse-In18 Sep 2006 10:29 AM I paticularly would not want to "nurse out" either just to make a point that doesnt need to be made. I'm wondering if this woman gave the store a 2nd chance? I always give a store a 2nd chance...you never know if you got someone on their bad day or if someone just didnt know how to deal with the BF mother and did what they though best..even though I would never agree with shunning her. Who knows maybe the next time she will be treated a million imes better. Also why would you do that to your baby? Its not good for them to be outside all day like that...Esp since its starting to get cold.... There are always 2 sides to a story...I just hope people in the future do as you did and post both sides so they can form their own opinion. |
