Believe it or not...

We have Prevacid!!!!! I got up this morning absolutely determined to get it for him... I decided to try my GP first, and if he wouldn't do it, I would go to emerg and sit there until someone did something for him.  At the GP's office, I told him exactly what had transpired with the pediatrician, and told him how miserable Damian has been.

The Path to Freedom Will Be Published!

Just days before my 41st birthday, a huge wish came true:  I received a publishing offer for my first novel! Sapphire Blue Publishing (http://www.sapphirebluepublishing.com/index.php?id=18) will be publishing the first in a series of 7 novels I have planned for Task Force 125 and Agent Sarah Stevens.  The expected release date is August 2008.

There are some free educational videos for kids at authorstream.com/Tweakysmom or bedfordpublications.com There are some that teach a phonics lesson and there is one that teaches respect for others and their property.  These are free to use in your classroom or kids group meetings.

Surviving Infant Reflux

Survival... That is definitely the word when it comes to infant reflux. I think our reflux journey really started when Damian was two weeks old.  Already coping with a "colicky" baby, I remember specifically saying to my husband, "I seriously wonder if he might not have reflux.

Still pregnant!

Ok, today is May 12, 2008 and I'm still pregnant.  Baby Brooklyn had a due date of 05/06/08, but she hasn't decided it's time for her big exit/entrance into the world yet.  But I'm glad to say that according to my doctor(s), she is doing fine.   So, we wait..............

Grandmother of 100 Yrs. Passed Away ....

My grandmother of 100 years passed away this past November. It's been very hard on us all, but especially on mom. She was very close to her mother and she misses her so deeply. With Mother'sDay coming up I feel like I'm caught between a rock and a hard spot.
