Calling all Bloggers -- Give a Personalized Memoir of Me Book

My friend was reading personalized book that her older son was given at the hospital. Her younger son said, "I want my name in a book."  Everytime I talk about my personalized kid's book, almost everyone has a story about the book they had when they were a kid. The book that was personalized with their name.

We buried my Dad today

Today was a very tough day.  We buried my Dad today.  We arrived at the cemetery at 2pm today for the ceremony, which included a bagpiper, a bugaler, and an honor guard with a flag ceremony.   It was an awesome ceremony, however, extremely emotional and overwhelming. They put his gravesite under a tree overlooking the ocean.  What a beautiful view he has daily.

looking for birthmother

So I found this site and saw some post about looking for birthmothers and thought I've tried every other site and have come up with nothing what not try this one. First I'm not looking for my birthmother but my grandmother. My mother was born in 1961 in a small town in Oklahoma (nowata to be exact). And although she doesn't act like it bothers her I know it does.

gotta go

Enter your post hereMy laptop has decided not to work properly, I'm using it now but when I turn it on, it just goes onto standby and I cannot use it, so I have to turn it on and offf quite a few times before it turns on properly, so I bought a new laptop today, it should be here soon. I need it quick so I had to get a Dell until I can get a better one.

Week 6 and other things

Okay.  This is week 6.  Am I excited?  Am I pumped?  Not really.  Only because last week I didn't have the proper food to eat and I didn't keep track of my weight.  That was really stupid on my part.  I should of kept track.  I guess I didn't want to see how bad it was going to be.  Now I wish I looked Sunday morning.

The Path to Freedom

The Path to Freedom was finally released on September 22, 2008.  It made the Sapphire Blue Publishing Bestseller List on September 25 and has been there ever since. To say that I am grateful to readers would be an understatement! The only problem with having your first novel published is it whets your appetite to write another one, or two.
