Family update

Well now this has been a tough journey for us. Rob recently left to go back to Iraq after spending 2 weeks with us. I must admit this has been one of the second hardest things I have ever gone though in my life. I miss him so much and worry about him all the time. He is well and it is definelty nice to hear from him like I do. It is hot there and he is ready to come home. 7.

Kyle's first day in school

    This is my very first entry in families.com and I thought that since this is my very first entry, I will talk about something personal. I would like to talk about my son, Kyle. Kyle is turning 2 years old this July. I had him when I was 19 years old. I was in second year college back then and I had to stop from schooling when my due date was about to come.

Mosquitos out of no where!

Could there be any more mosquitos please?  I have a mosquito bite on my toe... yes my toe!  What a pain!  I also have bites on my back, my legs, and arms.  I walk every morning before the heat gets too bad, but we have been having a great morning breeze down here in Houston... so no real mosquito worries...

Malaysian Women Conquers Mount Everest

Another women had porven to the world !!! Marina Ahmad, 25 , became the first Malaysian women to reach the summit of Mount Everest yesterday (21st May 2007). She was the sole women in the seven-member Merdeka de Everest 2007 expedition, which set out to conquer the world\\\'s highest mountain standing at 8,848m above sea level.
