One thing that has really helped me stay on track (I'm terrible with money) is to keep track of all of my receipts and input them once a week into Quicken. When I see that those lattes have added up to something unholy, I tend to stop altogether.

I also like the idea of keeping credit cards and debit cards at home. Seeing is a lot more real than just swiping.

If you live close to any major universities, their business schools are always looking for test subjects for their experiments. They are usually very easy and take about 30 minutes for 20 bucks.

Also, Amazon.com Sellers is great for selling books. They go very fast and we always have books that we are too attached to even though we haven't read them in ages. Also, kids' books. They all go fast. Another thing that goes very quickly: dvds. Be truthfull, will you really watch all the ones you have again?

I made around $300.00 in 3 weeks just selling books and DVDs on Amazon.com
