Once we got him speech therapy and learned no to "guess" what he wanted, he started to use signs and a little bit of language. Now that he has been in preschool, he has started to talk non stop. Some of the things that he says, we still can't understand, but we are getting there. And boy, I never realized how much I would love to hear thos simple words..............."I love you mommy!" That just melts my heart and it took three years to hear it and now I can't hear it enough! Kids and Earaches - Blog Entry04 Jun 2006 06:27 PM I can not say that I am for the wait and see approach! Because of the fact that my children do not have the "normal" symptoms that most have! I can take the children into the doctor for a well check up and the ear drum might be on the verge of rupturing! I have had this happen numerous times with both of my sons! Now, my daughter, she has had only one ear infection and she is 18 mos old.
