Love those Jollypenos:) When Labor Needs to Be Induced - Blog Entry30 Apr 2006 03:29 PM I have had to have all 3 of my labors induced! My first, my water borke and no contractions at all. My second was for a large baby and boy was I happy that I was induced 2 weeks early, he weighed 9lbs. 7 ozs. My third was because there was decrease in fetal movement. I got to the hospital and her heart rate was in the high 180's, I had a fever, and my blood pressure was up a bit. So she came 2 1/2 weeks early. So I know that there are good reasons and bad for inductions and in my case, they were all good reasons:) Garage Sale Hopping - Blog Entry30 Apr 2006 03:24 PM I just hosted a garage sale yesterday and we had so much fun, eventhough it was raining the whole time. We still had a great turn out and almost everything was sold. I still have so many things to get out for another sale because I am a pack rat and trying to clean house, oh so much fun. but we met so many new people yesterday, and we have lived here for 9 years! We had experienced a VERY sudden death of my mother 2 years ago and we were not sure how we were going to tell our 5 year old, who was very close to her. We explained to him that her heart was very sick and it couldn't be helped anymore. He took it very hard, but he did want to goto the visitation and we let him. He kissed her, held her hand and told her how much he loved her and that he would miss her. Then he went outside and I was with him and all of the sudden he said that he saw MeMaw. I was like what???? He said mom there is her star and she is shining so bright. So whenever he wants he can go outside and find her. The Family Bed - Part 1 - Blog Entry30 Apr 2006 02:08 PM Some children just need co sleeping. My second son, would never sleep. He was our difficult baby and I knew that I had to get some sleep to be able to function. So he started sleeping in our bed. The downside of this is, he is now 3 and still in our bed. We have tried soooo many different things to get him out of our bed, but no luck so far. I hope that you will follow this with ways to get them to their own beds!!!!!! For some reason he always felt the need to run and when I would try to catch him, he would run further! He would go to a stranger, but not me!
