Not all spankings lead to that child being a "beater"! I spank my children, but only when I see fit. I.E. if the child DARTS out into traffic or the parking lot! I do not spank for little things! I do not do it with anger, but for the care and concern for the child. But, I do agree with Teresa, it should not be done out of anger, because then it is ABUSE!!!! Of course, I had my hesitations and still can not get up the courage to let him ride it to school. Yes, I think that he would like it, but it is me! He is a child with a speech and language delay and he can not express himself like other 3 yr olds can! so that is what scares me.
