I know that my spouse and I have a great relationship, but he closes up to what bothers him sometimes. And I do mean sometimes!!! I know that he may have a rough day at work and he may not want to talk about it right when he gets home. I understand and respect him for that, so I jsut wait for him to talk on that subject. It is hard for people to realize what it is and how to understand it. But, if you can help your loved ones and friends to understand, they will be supportive. I have the best support group and that is my family and friends. Without them, I am not sure that I would have this under control. He is a taller, bigger man and we had to find something that would work for him! he loved it as much as I did. I highly recommend this one!!!! What Happened at Kyle's IEP Meeting - Blog Entry27 Mar 2006 04:26 AM I know just how you feel about the IEP's. I have a 2nd grader on a 504 plan (he should have an IEP by now) and a 3 year old with an IEP for preschool. His is for a speech delay (that his pediatrician didn't seem to worry about) that I had to investigate when he wasn't talking by 2 years old. I know how you feel about those meetings and how they sometimes go great and other times they go..........can I say???? Not to your expectations????
