Last year my son was given by his teacher, a paper folder for communication between teacher and parent, and guess what it looked like by the end of school??? Taped, stapled, stapled some more, and more tape, and it was still falling apart! So, this year, he has the plastic folders and he has a plastic binder for communication as well!
