I was assuming that people would realize that it would be relative to the time that you actually went to bed. I was basing it on the typical bedtime of the average American. Let's all go check out Fitclicker1's website now. Weighing Thy Self - Blog Entry03 Aug 2009 01:09 PM It takes time to lose weight. Fifty pounds is a great deal to lose. However, I have to tell you that I lost 40 pounds in two months, but it took approximately 2 hours of exercise a day and an 800-calorie diet. You can do it in a healthy way if you give it some time. Remember too, the longer it takes you to lose the weight, the more apt you are to keep it off. You are not just losing weight when you do this, but actually changing your lifestyle, including your eating habits. I find that I am much more conscious of everything that I eat. I don't think that I will ever stop counting the calories. It is a habit now and a way to keep myself in line so that I don't gain it back. Follow a healthy eating plan, stay away from snacks, no fast foods, do not eat after 7 pm and exercise. You will lose the weight this way. Good luck, you can do it. Blessings. Choosing Single Motherhood: The Thinking Woman's Guide - Blog Entry22 Jul 2009 01:11 PM Although I am not a single mother by choice, this is a controversial topic. For me single parenthood is something that I do not believe in. There are those though who see nothing wrong with it and believe in it. It is for those people that I wrote this article. In my attempts to address single mothers in all forms in this blog, I would recommend this book for those who are choosing it. I, myself, am in agreement that a child should have a male and female parent that are married. Wog for Your Life - Blog Entry17 Jun 2009 12:55 PM I apologize, but as you can see this is not how I intended it to be used. I did not realize. I hope that everyone can see the context of this word in my article. However, thanks for pointing it out, Samual. I will make sure that I will never say it The Present Box - Blog Entry13 Jun 2009 05:04 PM Hi Brandy, That is too bad. I am sorry that your ex is not as considerate as you are. It makes it hard for the kids. I was in a different situation and this was the only solution that I could come up with. It worked pretty well for us. With an ex, however, you should not have to do that. Have you tried explaining all of this to him? Parents, whether divorced or married should be doing this out of respect for the other parent, I believe. Maybe you can talk to him about this and explain that the children are being affected by it. I will pray for your situation and hope that this will resolve for you and the kids. Blessings. On Raising a Son Alone - Blog Entry26 May 2009 04:42 PM Hi Samual! Give them all some time. I am sure that with time they will have a better understanding of your situation. Blessings! Ten Tips for Weight Loss Success - Blog Entry12 May 2009 06:59 PM Hi A&S's Mommy! It took a lot of hard work to lose the weight for me. I had to exercise a couple of hours a day and cut my calories back a lot...seriously. I am back on round two because I am not finished...Are you following the things that I outlined above? It is hard work and you need to be consistent, which was difficult for me. Once you start seeing the pounds drop off though that is a big motivator, I think. Make sure that you are really counting those calories. It is a big pain, but worth it. Write it all down so that you can see just what you have eaten for the day. My best wishes to you for all that you want to accomplish! You can do it. Be strong.
