Are You Dressing Your Dog for Christmas? Christmas Pix?

My dog is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He's a wonderful, passive, loving, calm (unless the doorbells rings), animal and fits in great with our family. On occasion I can put a cool-looking  bandana around his neck, but that's about it. He'd eat anything else if we left it on him unattended.

Lately I've been seeing photos that people have taken of their pets dressed up for holiday pictures and I'm amazed at how creative they are! Large dogs, small dogs, doesn't matter - they are too cute!

Do any of you have tips for what works - what the dogs don't mind letting you dress them in (I don't mean silk vs. polyester - or do I?). I mean, sunglasses, hats, neckties, etc. - I'd love to make a great photo of him to put in our family Christmas card.

We're doing our cards this year on the new Picture Plus feature that SendOutCards introduced this summer. I'll be able to design a front of the card with a family photo (wiyth-or-without dog), and our name and the year as a heading; on the inside, I can write our annual letter (concise and not too brag-gy) and include another picture - perhaps of a decorated pup! I cant even put a cartoon-type balloon on it to show what he might be thinking.
