Cleaning as Therapy - Blog Entry

It does help. Yard work is good too, like raking. A mindless but physical activity so you can think things through or just clear your head.

I've never been a dish thrower, but I have been known to slam a door... cleaning is far more productive! :o)

Advocates/activists for gay issues have a voice in many, many venues, so I feel it's important for the other side of this issue to be addressed as well.

Wow, Julie! That is some story. Thank you for sharing. I hope your brother is doing well.

You're right... despite my earlier joking, cleaning can be therapeutic.... I have been known to find something to scrub within an inch of it's life as a constructive way to get rid of frustration. :o)

The joke was pretty funny... I had to laugh at myself, because I was already thinking about what to write in response before I saw that it was a joke, LOL.

I do like the idea of marriage education/counseling before marriage and would recommend it, but I just don't like the government getting involved. I feel it is already too involved in our personal lives the way it is. I'm a rebel... ;o)

Thank you for sharing your story. I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. I think a large part of the girls' problem is the lack of attention from their mom and they may act out because of it. Dad may be quick to spoil them, because he's overcompensating for Mom's lack of attention/affection toward them.

I'll try to write more on this soon...
