Is There Ever a Time to Be Violent? - Blog Entry

Many Christians question war, but I agree with you that just as the Bible says, there is a time for all things. Defense is much different than attacking out of spite or vengeance, and sometimes it does require power to pursue peace, unfortunately.

Very nicely done.

What about a Father's "Right to Choose"? - Blog Entry

I know someone who recently went through this as well, Dawn. I don't think he'll ever get over it. The worst part is, she got rid of the baby without even letting him know, because she was afraid of how he would react... on the mere assumption that he wouldn't be happy! This is why I think it is important that the father be informed and the same applies to parental notification. Some girls get rid of their babies out of fear of how their parents MIGHT react. It breaks my heart that some people literally make life and death decisions based on assumptions.

Thank you for sharing, Jeff. You have a point, as does Karabu. I also admire how thoughtful you are of what women experience when having babies. I just can't help but be concerned for the other two people affected by such a decision, both of whom have zero say in the matter.

Thanks, Julie. It needs to be said. I don't know how we came to a place where women can make life and death decisions that affect 3 people, themselves, baby, and dad, with no regard for the other two people involved... and we call it a "right." :o(
