To me, abortion doesn't prevent cruelty to a child, it just makes sure the cruelty happens earlier, while the child is out of sight, out of mind. We couldn't very well give women a "choice" to destroy their children after they're born, but for some, doing so even one second before they leave the birth canal is acceptable. Children really are happiest and most secure when they know there are boundaries and know what is expected of them. When they have structure and consistency, they thrive. However, you would probably have to be a state approved caregiver in order for her to collect it to pay you. You may find that you'll have to meet certain requirements. If you are willing to accept $10/day, go with that, but if you feel you need more, I personally would charge by the hour. Some people tend to take advantage when they pay a flat rate. 4 - 8 quickly becomes 4 - 8:30 etc.....
