We don't do any "official" bird watching, but we do enjoy checking out the different varieties of birds that drop by for a snack. We make feeders and set birdseed out on the rails of our deck and we can peek out from the living room if we're quiet. Birds really can be fascinating. Nice idea, Lauri!

Okay, you asked (and you know I always have an opinion). ;o)

I haven't read this report yet, but similar reports lead me to believe that it isn't really an either/or question. Rather than "focus on problems -or- solutions," I see it more as identifying problems in order to find solutions.
