What is Grey Water Gardening? - Blog Entry

22 Jan 2007 08:49 PM

Mary Ann, I am an avid gardener. It is expensive in the hot Texas summer to water all my plants. When the temps reach the 90's and the sun beats unmercifully on my little darlings, I water in the early morning and by the evening they are parched and ready for another drink. I collect rain water and use it whenever its available. There is no chlorine or flouride in it and rainwater is excellent for plants. If I find an unidentified bottle of water sitting around, it always goes on a plant. Art

Holding Grudges or Letting Go-Teaching our Kids about Forgiveness - Blog Entry

Lori, excellent blog. One of life's most important lessons, letting go. Also one of the hardest things to learn how to do, but the rewards are so worth it, not having to carry all that grudge baggage around all the time, once we've learned to let go. anfd forgive. Learning that we are all in this together and we all make mistakes is really a valuable life lesson. Artcraft

Caring for the Poor - Blog Entry

I was transfered to a restaurant in Pasadena and soon found out there was a homeless man who lived in a wooded area directly behind it. Everyday after he left, I would walk over and leave him a meal in a to go container. After I was moved to another store, I worried about his food situation. I still think of him. Artcraft

Myra, great blog. Sometimes we forget those painful childhood memories and don't relate to our children. We miss the moment to help them understand they aren't the only ones that go through the pain. It is always good to share the sad feelings as well as the good ones. Artcraft
