Linda Hansen's Journal Add Entry14 Oct 2006 08:51 AMDealing with Dysfunctional BehaviorAll three of the boys have behavioral problems due to their past environments. All have been influenced by drug addicted parents and their lifestyles. This is one of many important ongoing lessons we are trying to teach our three boys. We do answer to decisions made in the present, on down the road. This is a rather abstract lesson, so it takes daily examples to get the boys to understand that everything we do, affects us as well as others. The oldest came to us diagnosed with ADHD and assorted learning disabilities. It's called parentconnect and can be successfully accessed by registering and receiving a username and password. I can check all three boys' grades, classroom activities, homework assignments due, progress reports, attendance and tardies, daily. We have injected this into or morning routine before the kids leave for school.
