09 Oct 2006 07:03 PM Staying on top of the kids gradesOur school district has a wonderful new program. It's called parentconnect and can be successfully accessed by registering and receiving a username and password. I can check all three boys' grades, classroom activities, homework assignments due, progress reports, attendance and tardies, daily. We have injected this into or morning routine before the kids leave for school. This gives them an up to the minute status on what is expected of them and helps me to know immediately if there is a red flag for a declining grade in any particular subject. ParentConnect has been a most useful tool and works well with being able to email teachers to inquire about any problems with low test grades or missing assignments. No comments on this article yet.
