I have on one occasion played for the entire church service. Because I enjoy playing the piano, any article with that word captures my interest. Growing Up With Bowling - Blog Entry23 May 2006 04:38 AM This is Arlene from brainfuse. I love bowling too! My husband helped me to learn to bowl on my State Office league. He was quite patient with all of my mistakes. He got me to aim for the correct arrows though. My husband continued to bowl on leagues, and I was the fan watching the team. Mostly, my husband has bowled with our church bowling league. We made great friends with the church members in the process. His average through many years of bowling, stayed at the high 160's. Oddly enough, I am having an urge to bowl again. My work schedule is keeping me so busy that I have not found the time yet. Meanwhile, I will enjoy reading blogs that might help my bowling average. I managed to win one trophy in that league, which I am proud of. I had the trophy for the high game with handicap! Baseball Cards - A Great Hobby - Blog Entry23 May 2006 04:29 AM This is Arlene from brainfuse. Yes, I and my children also collect baseball cards! We have the books to display all of the cards. The reason we like the baseball cards is that both of my children have been avid Little League fans. My son and daughter both played on high school ball teams. My son was the pitcher on his high school team. Now he plays intramural softball at Purdue. Our latest excitement is that one of his friends is getting invitiations to be a professional ball player. Maybe some day we can collect his ball card too! |
