I'm just thankful it didn't happen when I was out of action,that would have been a disaster - with both of us as crocs. Not that this illness now didn't create a few problems timing wise we could have done without. But that's another blog for another time.

Thanks Court and Janet. Good to be back. The arm still needs a lots of strengthening. The muscles are complaining about that as they got lazy over the 7 weeks. And the scar gets red and angry looking if I try and do too much so it's still needs a bit of time.I won't be driving a car or wielding a tennis racket any time soon.

Funny, my daughter and I were talking about it once and talking specifically about the Gilmore Girls which was a TV show we both enjoyed. She said 'Sometimes Lorelie just needed to be a Mom to Rory and not always just be her best friend.' And my thoughts were the same, which is perhaps hardly surprising since we think a lot alike. And then she said 'You were always my Mom but we were and still are friends as well.'
