I'm not surprised the ones married longest couldn't remember some of the details. I know what it's like with Mick and I and we've got a quite a few years yet before we get to 50. It doesn't mean those things were unimpoirtant -just that so much life has been lived since. The most important thing is we still remember we love each other and why.

When our daughter was young she had thin hair and her godmother, a hairdresser, suggested it should be cut short to strengthen it. She was about 4 at the time. She wasn't happy about it. We explained why it needed to be cut so it would grow long and beautiful. It did. It's long thick and gorgeous and she's had long hair ever since. We never had any major hassles though. She always loved people combing or brushing her hair etc. She's now an adult.

Sounds like I must've passed my dreaded lurgy over to you now. Hope you feel better soon. Anniversaries are important, but like you said there's been a lot going on lately and Wayne did try and make up for forgetting. I bet he won't ever do it again.
