Stay at home Moms are often made to feel guilty by society and those woman who are working and who don't see the benefit of raising their kids themselves. Then when soemone like Mem Fox comes out and attacks working women and childcare they get all up in arms. See my blog http://marriage.families.com/blog/whats-most-important. I had times of guilt because of staying home imposed by others comments etc but they were outweighed by knowing that for me and my family I did the right thing. And I see the results of that now they are adults.

When we were both working, each time I made a casserole etc I made a double portion and froze half. Even now I have spares in the freezer for lazy days. Love my slow cooker. Combined with a timer it is great! Cooking doesn't have to take a lot of time just a bit of imagination. If frozen food and pre packaged meals companies relied on me they would have gone out of business years ago,(LOL) as even when working I didn't use them, thoguh I'm not beyond using a gluten free tortilla as a base for a pizza as I hate making pizza dough.
