I was a huge Elvis fan when young. Saw all his movies even though some of the later ones were forgetable. I still love to listen to his songs. I have a CD of his gospel songs that I play a lot. I think it's like that old hymn about 'count your blessings, name them one by one , ' and see what the Lord has done. I'd suggest it's a good exercise for each of us to do each week. Apparently I was named after the heroine of a novel my mother was reading before I was born which she claimed was 'the loveliest story she had ever read.' I only wish I knew what the book was. Perfume is such an individual thing. My husband and family sometimes buy it for me and I love it when they do, but usually only ones they know I wear, Body Shop, Anaya and Dewberry or Estee Lauder - Pleasures, Beautiful. They are all I wear these days. For year when younger I only ever wore Norman Hartnell's In Love which used to come in tiny vials with stockings as well as in the prefume counter of stores. But then it disappeared.
