He's the one who wanted it and he makes the bread. i don't eat much bread and when I do, it's gluten free. Yetserday a small washer needed replacing. he rang the breadmaker co. and the only place we can get it from is 6 hours drive away or they will post it and it costs $10 and $8.50 to post. Strange when they could just slip it in an envelope and post it for 50 cents. but they had us over a barrel as we had no other option. It would cost too much in petrol and time to go and pick it up. The Illusionist (2006) - Blog Entry01 May 2008 03:36 PM Thanks Courtney. Another thing we have in common since, like you, I was riveted. I enjoyed writing the review. Saving on Travel Down Under - Blog Entry30 Apr 2008 08:19 PM They sound amazing deals to Oz. I'm sure it would cost us a lot more than that to fly to the USA . Let me say that anyone coming to Austraila, you're better to come to Sydney in winter than Melbourne. The weather is usually better. And of course Sydney has the amazing harbor. yes, I used to live in Sydney. The Illusionist (2006) - Blog Entry29 Apr 2008 03:08 PM Two others my husband and I saw recently and liked are 'Enchanted' and 'The Jane Austen Book Club' but my favorite movie ever is 'Friendly Persuasion'which was released about 1956. Tristi has a review of it. Otherwise I'd have reveiwed it. It's a movie I watch over and over. The last time just recenty when I had the flu. Tristi's Favorite Musicals - Blog Entry28 Apr 2008 09:29 PM I saw Phantom live twice about 15 years apart. Both times with my daughter who was a child the first time. We went as a mother daughter weekend last year to Melbourne to see Anthony Warlow in the lead. Unfortunately it didn't work out as planned. I wrote about it in http://christian.families.com/blog/when-plans-dont-work-out Setting Healthy Boundaries for Your Children (1) - Blog Entry28 Apr 2008 08:47 PM You make good points. I've linked to this in my latest blog parenting God's Way http://christian.families.com/blog/parenting-gods-way-part-2 Little House on the Prairie - Blog Entry25 Apr 2008 05:46 PM Our family loved this show. It hasn't been on in Australia for a long time so we have been trying to collect the DVDs of it. I liked the way this family tried to live out their Christian faith and often laughed and cried along with them. Tristi's Favorite Musicals - Blog Entry24 Apr 2008 04:02 PM I loved South Pacific, The Sound of Music, Showboat, West Side Story, 7 Brides for seven brothers, and pretty well most musicals. Exceptions I can think of would be Brigadoon, Oliver and Chicago. My favorite musical which I have only seen on stage is Les Miserables. Another I saw on stage by our local theatre company was Jeckyll and Hyde and that was very powerful. The Boy With Green Hair (1948) - Blog Entry24 Apr 2008 03:29 PM the name of that rings a bell.
