Talk about going over the top! We used to love playing games like these and we survived it. And ran off excess energy which I would have thought would have benefited the teachers as well as the kids. We used to play a game called Snake at a Kids Club we ran years ago. I doubt you'd be allowed to play it now.

Lovely story. As a child I had a budgie which couldn't fly because he used to pull his tail feathers out. When out of his cage he used to scuttle around the floor. I used him recently in a children's story that is now with a publisher.

Singing is great for the spirit. I belong to a choir where some of the members are in their 70s and 80s. Others are younger. But we have one thing in common - we love to sing. We regularly go to nursing homes and sing, carols at Christmas, festivals, etc. Some of what we sing are songs fom musicals, some Australian, some more modern and some older ballads. I love the variety. We all have our own particular favorites though.
