They may even move overseas. Poeple who make children their priority rather than their husband or wife, then find they have nothing in common, nothing left to say to each other. The best thing we can do for our kids is give them an example of parents who love God and then love and care for each other. Most of my close friendships have come from Bible study groups, and are like family. But it doesn't always happen and it's not always easy. Sometimes people are defensive and challenged when we first tell them about Jesus. But hopefully you can remain in contact with her and share the truth at some stage.
