Some insist on colouring in the exact colors of the picture they had been shown. As a general rule girls tend to color between lines more than boys, but not always. My son was neat at coloring. When my children were little I always tried to help them break out of the stereotypes and be imginative and end up with pink and orange skies or blue tres etc. Our daughter grew up to study art. I wonder how much was already in her and how much parents can foster and develop imagination.
