Does Your Daughter Like Dolls?

13 Apr 2010 03:41 PM

I had a daughter who was so into dolls. From the time she was a baby she automatically gravitated towards dolls. She was always a girly girl who loved frills and dresses and jewelry too. That's just the way she came out. She ended up with a heap of Barbies. I know. They're still in our shed - waiting for the day she has her own. She could spend hours playing by herself, using her imagination and creating whole worlds and scenarios for her dolls. I think dolls can encourage imagination but if they don't like them then I wouldn't try and force the issue.
