Like who has that sort of money to replace major items that often! We have an upright freezer that is 38 years old. The best money we ever spent. Donate Plasma27 Aug 2008 02:04 PM I saw this in a movie recently that people got paid for donating blood and could not believe my eyes. I n Australia blood and plasma donations are done voluntarily and I for one am grateful for those people who donate. My daughter would not be alive if they didn't. When Igive blood I am in an out in half an hour, mine runs so freely. I take a book but never get very far. This time last year we were still in T shirt and shorts but now it is definitely pants and sweaters and coats etc. We've even had a frost which is unusual for the coast.
