Marriage as God Designed It?

04 Aug 2008 10:33 PM

Thanks Courtney. In today's world I think we all need to be reminded what long lasting true love looks like. It hadn't been what I'd been planning to write about, but I couldn't let it pass, so changed plans.

Do You Have a Room of Your Own?

It's Australian sky blue - a deepish mid blue in other words. Our family room has a couple of walls a similar colour that we painted. They had been yellow and neither of us could live with yellow walls.

Do You Have a Room of Your Own?

I have a room of my own- my study. It has blue walls and curtains. If it hadn't already been painted that cokour when we bought the house I would have painted it blue. That's why I picked this room for my study. My last study was blue too. All I did was paint one tinyt wallthat was yello, white to match the ceiling. My husband has his room of his own - study too but shows no desire to do anything to make it more his.

A Blue Home May Make You Lose Weight

I have to say I'm more than a little sceptical of this. My kitchen is blue and cream. Blue is the predominant color in our home and in the home before this in dining areas , tablecloth etc , and I haven't noticed any weight loss or change in appetite from years ago ( the 70s) when I had an orange kitchen.

Thanks Lauri. It prompted a blog about not taking life for granted, but finding the blessings http://christian.families.com/blog/not-taking-life-for-granted-but-finding-the-blessings. I've linked it to this blog. I hadn't heard of this Quindlen book but loved her other books , One True Thing and Black and Blue.

Welcome Or Not?

Having been through the experience in the past, I know it's not easy, particularly when you have been at one church a long time. I will definitely pray that God shows you exactly the right place where He wants you. This is what he has done with us and our move. You might like to have a look at http://christian.families.com/blog/finding-the-right-church-part-1 and http://christian.families.com/blog/finding-the-right-church-part-2, God's blessing on you in your search.
