If you're happy in the garden and a ride on mower does sound more pleasure than work, I wouldn't see it as a problem. I imagine that it could be a great time to pray and praise God for his creation, among other things. I ofen find when doing mundane things, like dusting or hanging out washing, it frees the mind to think about our Mighty God and creator.

Hi Andrea, Thanks for taking time to comment. Good point about parents being led to church by their children. It made me think of such a family years ago. The child was part of our Sunday School. I was teaching Sunday school at the time and took it upon myself to visit the parents of all children in my class and let them know what the chidlren were learning in Sunday school. Mostl parents I visited were happy to receive a visit. several ended up coming to family services and this one family where the parents had wandered away from God re-committed and later became active members of the church and great at bringing others. So it ended up a ripple effect

Hi Amy, I enoyed reading your blog. So true. Wish I'd have found it earlier when writing one about 'when things go wrong.' I'm only new to the Famiies.com blogging caper as A Christain blogger. So I'm still in the stage of having all my blogs checked before they go up on the site. My blog about when things go wrong should be up today I guess as I drafted it yesterday. Dale
