Jeff,

Pizza and fries is a terrible meal and will cause your body to experience difficulty recovering from a 1 hr. workout. you need to eat protein within 30 minutes after your workout. This should be followed with some fresh fruit or veges. Your recovery from workouts will be best based on your eating habits. Your eating habits are 70% of your success in weight loss or getting in shape.

That sounds like alot of calories for a dinner. Try eating much lighter at dinner - nothing over 300 calories. If you do eat dinners such as that described in your note, you should walk about 2 miles before bed.

You Need to Eat Breakfast to Lose Weight

This is very true. I do all of the above at varying times during the week. I also like to walk or cycle before breakfast. This does alot for the metabolism for the entire day.

I took off 40 lbs thru WW. In one of the classes I attended early in my weight loss efforts, the leader said, associate with thin or fit people and see how they eat. I did this and it was an eye opener. In order to maintain my weight loss, I tell my fat friends who were my lunch buddies, that I can't go to that restaurant very often or stop at ice cream shops daily, etc. I have had to limit my associations with them because of their unhealthy habits. Church functions are another area where food is the central theme. I attend these activities but am very careful about what I eat as most of it is very unhealthy food.
