Old Man Winter doesn’t want to loosen his frigid grip on the country. So, what do you do when the snow is piling up and the temperatures refuse to rise over freezing? Create a winter-themed scrapbook layout. Or, if you live on a frozen tundra like I do, consider crafting an entire memory album filled with snowy seasonal memories.
Take your kids and your camera outside for a bit and snap shots of winter play. You don’t have to stay outdoors for an extended period of time; rather, go out with the goal of building a snowman, a snow fort or partake in a snowball fight. Other quick and easy activities that are worth featuring in a winter-themed layout include making snow angels, sledding, or simply capture some shots of your children trying to catch snowflakes on their tongues.
When you are ready to assemble your layout, pepper the page with poems, famous quotes or jot down a funny anecdote that will bring some perspective to your page design. Some examples include:

To further embellish your layout, adhere buttons in different colors and sizes to create a whimsical page border. Another eye-popping option is to use colorful embroidery floss and make a large friendship bracelet that you can use as a photo frame or as an element to highlight a journaling block.
