Bio

About myself.... I am a mother to 4 awesome kids (they are seriously so great!). I find it so crazy that 4 children, raised in the same home can have such a difference in their personalities and interests. They truly are individuals. Together with my husband, they are my life. I am married to a wonderful man named Jacob and have enjoyed such an abundance of blessings in my life. We are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints aka LDS or mormons.

Speaking of families, I have 8 brothers and 2 sisters. They are all really great. My parents (still happily married and totally in love), had all of us (this is not a yours, mine, and ours, situation). My family is all really close. I talk to all of them regularly and we get together on a regular basis as well. My parents did a phenominal job in raising us and we always felt truly loved.

A few of my life philosophies: First and formost, family and something to believe in are the ultimate firsts for everything to me. I find that attitude in our circumstances determines how we grow from them. We all have difficulties in life and we can either choose to learn and grow and progress or let them eat away at us. Often this is a hard thing to do, but I have grown so much from the change in my own attitude, that I am completely convinced of this. I also believe that we are here on earth to make our own choices, so many people pass off their anger or offense to someone else. However, the choice still remains in us to choose whether or not allow that anger or offense to define us or to forgive and let it go. I stress to my children these things combined with accountiblity. So many people place blame on others for their own choices. We are all responsible for the choices we make, period. With all of that said, I also know that none of us are perfect especially myself. We all need to continually try to progress. Whoever said that real change comes from taking baby steps was so smart. So, although I believe these things that I am talking about, I certainly have room to improve and I try to improve myself little bits at a time, as I think everyone should. My last thought along these lines (at least for the moment, I may need to come in and add more) is that service is invaluable. To serve others is a great and marvelous thing. Often with small children it is difficult, but I do everything in my power to teach them this. Christ spent his entire life serving others, what better way to emulate him, then to go and do likewise. Last but not least, I love being a member of families.com. I have been around since the first few months of its beginning and it has been quite the journey. I have made some wonderful lifelong friends here, and I will forever be grateful for them. THANKS!
