13 Nov 2006 08:23 PM Memories...Donny Osmond sang "Memories, hello old friend, so you've come back to taunt me again, oh but I'm stronger now, than I was before, the thought of her doesn't hurt anymore." Memories are funny like that. Some of those memories are friends and warm and comfortable as fire light is on a snowy winter night. They are wrapped around us in an intrigual dance of reality although they appear to be illusional and unattainable. Kenny Roger's song "I Can't Unlove You" has stirred memories within me that were long forgotten. Some of those are good and some not so good. Reflection of my life's "Broken Road" and memories have allowed a glimpse of my Heavenly Father's love. "The Way We Were" reflects in my memory as a candle lit reflection in a mirror. Many things forgotten, many things remembered in a new and different light. The growth and strength gained have far out weighed the trials and adversities gone through. I believe that as we strive to live a true and good life here in mortality, that Heavenly Father will see the good too and through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can stand before Father and hear him say "I Can't Unlove You" no matter what we have done in the past.
