I HAD NO IDEA: A Story from a Mother whose Child was Sexually Abused by a Family Member.17 Oct 2006 09:56 PM I know this family the mother had 2 girls and 2 boys and they found out that the mother's bother and cousin were doing sexual things to all of the children, one of them is only in jail for 4 years and the other got 10 years only because he had been in trouble with the law before. The boys that were doing this are only 16. So you don't ever know who will do anything like that too your kids. Thank you for this info i would have never thought about grandparents doing anything like that to there grandchildren it made me wake up and realize. Just thinking about anyone doing something like that too a kid makes me sick. One of my friends sent me a web site that you could go to and find child offenders in your area and i was shocked to find out that within a 5 mile radious there was 15 offenders. I think these people should never be let out, they should never be able to see any kids again.
