Getting kids to eat foods that are new and different.

Do you have a problem with your kids not wanting to eat anything new or different, i do.  I have found that when the kids help you make the food that they are gonna eat they are more likely to eat it themselves.  My kids do not want to eat Bar-B-Q chicken, so one night i decided to let my kids help me make it.

Turkey Lasagna

This is a good easy recipe.  It is a good way to get some veggies in with the meal and your kids will nit even realize that they are eating their veggies. You will need: 21/2 cups uncooked wide egg noodles (8oz.), 1 cup jarrred tomato sauce, plus extra, warmed, for serving, 11/2  ups Italian Fontina cheese, shredded (6oz.

Whipped Maple Sweet Potatoes

Here is another wonderful sidedish for that great turkey for thankgiving. 31/2 lb. sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices, Salt and pepper, 1/3 cup pure maple syrup, 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature and Chopped pecans, optional In a Dutch oven high heat, bring sweet potatoes, enough cold water to cover, adn 1 teaspoon salt to a boil, covered.

Roasted Autumn Vegtables

This is a great sidedish to go along with the turkey.  6 medium-large beets, green trimmed to 1 inch scrubbed, and dried, 3 tablespoon olive oil, Salt and pepper, 13/4 lb.  Parsnips, peeled, rimmed and cut into 1/2-inch slices, 2 (10oz.) packages Brussels spouts, trimmed adn halved lengthwise and 2 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley Preahe oven to 425 degrees F.

Molasses-glazed Turkey

Thanksgiving is coming up and we are all ready to eat that good food.  I know i am.  I love turkey but i get tired of eating it the same old way so i wanted to find another way to eat turkey.  So i did. You will need 1(14lb.) turkey, ready to cook, Salt and pepper, 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard, 3/4 cups good-quality molasses You will need to preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Tacos in a Bag

 Come on now how many of use hate to clean up after dinner, I know I do. This is the best recipe for you then. There is no mess the only thing you have to wash is the skillet and that sounds really great to me how about you? This is a great recipe to get the kids involved in making dinner.
