Looking for a way to pack more neclaces and make romm for a few more earrings as well? one way is to make a jewlery wrap from an old pillowcase or cloth napkin. Her's how. Cut a 10- by 13-inch rectangle from the fabric and hem any unfinshed edges. lay the fabric on your work surface and fold each short end toward the center, leaving a space of about an inch running down the center. With a sewing machine (or by hand if you don't have one), stitch five straight lines across the fabric to form eight small pockets. Tuck your jewlery inside the pockets, then loosely roll the fabric into a tube and tie the whole thing with a piece of yarn or ribbon. The pockets will keep the pices deparate and prevent them from scratching each other or tangling. Community Tags home, Jewlery Discuss this article
