Quick Chicken Teriyaki

     

Prep:10 min.           Total: 30 min.

1/4 cup Kraft Light Done Right! Zesty Italian Reduced Fat Dressing

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips

1 1/3 cups water

1/4 cup teriyaki sauce

1/2 tsp cup garlic powder

2 cups frozen broccoli florets

1 1/2 cups minute white rice, uncooked

HEAT dressing in large nonstick skillet on meduim-high heat.  Add chicken; cook and stir 5-7 min. or until cooked through.

ADD water, teriyaki sauce and garlic powder; stir.  Bring to boil.

Stir in broccoli and rice; cover.  Cook on low heat 5 min.  Remove from heat.  Let stand 5 minutes.  Fluff with fork.

Makes 4 servings.

SUBSTITUTE: Try adding frozen stir-fry style mixed vegtables instead of the broccoli.

For me, this no-fuss recipe makes an all-time Asian favorite even better. When i make it at home, I can switch up the flavors to suit my family.
