30 Mar 2009 03:27 PM ImmunizationsWith all of the recent speculation surrounding the topic of immunizations, I am curious to find out the parent's opinion on whether or not they are beneficial for your child. Immunizations are said to be one of the most effective developments that have been successful in sustaining the lives of children within the past century. However, recently (although disproved) there has been speculation that immunizations may lead to an increased chance of Autism. Although studies have proven that this "accusation" is not necessarily true, many parents are hesitant to immunize their children on the off chance that it is not. Additionally, immunizations are to be administered in a scheduled manner. However, due to the lack of reason (i.e. the child does not contract an illness), these guidelines are often looked past. Did you immunize your child? If so, did you follow the prescribed timetables for doing so? No comments on this article yet. Be the first to comment! Discuss this article
